I tried with Adobe Reader 7.0 and evince on Linux. See screenshots at http://www.cluster.kiev.ua/eugen/tetex/ . The .out file also looks correct. BTW do you have the same bug in Linux like in Windows, or maybe you have boxes with some numbers displayed instead on needed symbols (it may indicate that you do not have needed fonts installed)? -- Eugeniy Meshcheryakov
