I'm using Acroread 5.0.1 and I can still see bugs (see
http://www.amasol.de/~preusse/367842/ ). For reference I've put there
the TeX file I used and the patch I applied to puenc.def.
That screen shot was done using teTeX 3.0 from cygwin and Acroread
from Windows however I can reproduce ith using evince and acroread
7.0 on Linux.
