Ok, debhelper >= 5.0.31 is in unstable, so I tested:
upgrade worked.

wide line spacing.

I didn't even know that this is possible ;-)

I tried the 4 LMxxxx fonts, LMRoman10, LMSans10,
LMTypewriter10, LMTypewriterVarWd10
Seemed to be ok.
So if you are content with this outcome, please dch -a, change the
UNRELEASED tag and do the tests you would do. Then someone could upload.
