Bug#354001: amsmultex and mullatex formats don't build in etch and sid (was: Bug#354001: tetex-bin: fmtutil-sys fails to process amslatex.ini and mullatex.ini:)

clone 354001 -1
retitle -1 multex-bin is missing a dependency on tetex-extra
reassign -1 multex-bin
thanks

Looks similar, but is something different. Thanks for opening a new bug
instead of arbitrarily choosing one to followup to, as some people did.

I can reproduce this, but only when upgrading from sarge (i.e. from
tetex-2.0.2). And there are two unrelated problems. The first and easy
one (actually the second in the logfile) is that amsmultex wants to load
amstex.tex which is in tetex-extra, so it needs to depend on that
package. I don't know why it worked earlier; or rather I can't even
check whether it worked earlier, because installing multex-bin in sarge
fails with a different error message (pattern size exceeded...).

The other one is more tricky. Lets look at the logfile.

and so on, the last line I copied is number 19. Funny, I see an
inverted exclamation mark there, while TeX seems to see a standard one.

I'll have to investigate this further.
