Yes, now I see it does. And I have just dropped some files from my home
directory...

Right, agreed. Thanks for making me see the light, Frank. :-)

I think that this bug can be closed now...  Perhaps, Peter would like to
add some indication that the functionality of xdvi-search.el can be had
with AUCTeX and this is the reason why it is not included in
emacs-goodies-el. One thing less to maintain, better quality.
