Bug#289848: tetex-bin: pdflatex generates truncated seminar slides

On my Debian machines: With the example I provided, the slides are
printed correctly with latex + dvips (from the Debian distribution),
but are truncated with pdflatex. This should be explained by the
seminar.con file, that seems to work for Postscript only, as you

Well, here's some additional information: In June, another LaTeX
distribution was installed at my lab on a NFS-mounted directory,
together with packages specific to my lab. And when I tried this
distribution, I noticed that my slides were truncated with latex +
dvips; after a discussion with the maintainer of this installation,
it appeared that this was due to the missing seminar.con file.
Adding this file to my $TEXINPUTS was sufficient for this site
distribution.

Note that my $TEXINPUTS is common to both distribution (Debian's
and the site distribution), and ends with ":" to include paths
defined in the distribution. But adding seminar.con to it didn't
change anything for Debian's distribution, since it was already
present in the paths for Debian's distribution.

I hope this is clearer now.

OK, so it is (or was) teTeX-specific (since the site distribution at
my lab had seminar.cls, but not seminar.con).
