I usually don't forget it; but I agree that they can be dropped.  We
should point that out in NEWS.Debian, though.

BTW, I have just added a remark to tetex-bin's NEWS.Debian, referring
readers to tex-common's (because with apt-listchanges, tex-common's NEWS
file will not be shown upon upgrade from sarge).
