I guess the algorithm package. Well, if you don't have fonts etc to
install, it is easy. Just install the stuff and call mktexlsr in the
postinst/postrm.

If you have fonts, it's getting more complicated. Take a look at the
policy manual, in the appendix there are sample implementations, or -
even better - use dh_installtexfonts (in tex-common).

Isn't it contained in TeX live? What package are you talking about?
