Tried again with an updated unstable and the SVN from yesterday. Here
it reads:

grep -v '^[ \t]*#' scripts/postinst-texfonts > /home/hille/tex-common/debian/tex-common/usr/share/debhelper/autoscripts/postinst-texfonts
# ship /var/cache/fonts with proper permissions
For any reason that "postinst-texfonts" after
/usr/share/debhelper/autoscripts/ is missing, but it is contained in
debian/rules from rev 311 (debian/rules wasn't changed since then).
What makes me wondering is your odd path:
tex-common/compile/tex-common-0.8.1/
Are you eventually operating on an outdated version?
