I havee just installed this version an Sarge with teTeX 3.0 backport.
Everything works nicely. A few comments with respect to Readme.Debian:

* The dvips option '-Pcm-super' is no longer needed since
  dvipsPreferOutline is set to true since teTeX 2.

* t1enc.sty is depricated and should be replaced with fontenc.sty with
  T1 option.

* Does the plain TeX example really work? Plain TeX expects OT1 encoded
  fonts.

* The old name 'pts-tetex-cm-super' is still used.

BTW, what is the license of t1c2pfb.pl?
