Hi the problem was something like "cannot configure tetex-base because /usr/share/texmf/doc/..(?) contains a dir ~/textpos (or something like that): Error [1] . I removed that file but still got the same error-message. Sorry , can`t remember exactly what the error-message sad. apt-get -f install didn`t do it but dpkg -i --force <deb> did the job Regards Jens
