Not, there is no fix yet, cause we don't have any clue, what causes
the bug.

Yes, you could try it. Please post any messages, which will be
displayed during purge/remove and have a look if the mentioned file
does still exists after you've removed tetex-extra.

There could be several reasons for the fail. Did you have a look a
the log files and noticed that it is the same as #244601?

I guess, you had purged tetex-bin again, before you reported this
bug.
