Sorry, I don't see the difference between these two. Does the last
mean, that you build the deb @home and upload it? I.e. building the
package from .orig.tar.gz, diff.gz and dsc gives another result.

Well if we document in Readme.Debian, that we've patched that file I
don't see a problem at all.
