As far as I know, we had removed possible bad-license 
files from the upstream tar.gz and generated orig.tar.gz

And if some file was confirmed to be DFSG-compliant we
added it with diff.gz, that is with patch-tmp, and you could
find listings.sty and euler.dvi at present in patch-tmp.

So caption.sty should be handled with the same way if it 
is really necessary.

Generating another orig.tar.gz with the same version is basically
impossible, I'm afraid.
