That only proves that the file is in 1.0.2, but not that the file on my
system is really from this package. Well, I don't know of any other
source, but than I also know that "it can't" be from 1.0.2...

Same? You mean that in 2.0.2 it is in
/usr/share/texmf/metapost/context/base, right?
