Bug#247414: tetex-base: /usr/share/texmf left after purge

Package: tetex-base
Version: 2.0.2-8
Severity: normal

I installed and then purged tetex-bin which caused tetex-base to be
installed and purged as well. During the tetex-bin purge, I saw this:
Purging configuration files for tetex-base ...
dpkg - warning: while removing tetex-base, directory
`/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config' not empty so not removed.
Removing texinfo ...
dpkg - warning: while removing texinfo, directory
`/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic' not empty so not removed.
dpkg - warning: while removing texinfo, directory `/usr/share/texmf/tex'
not empty so not removed.
dpkg - warning: while removing texinfo, directory `/usr/share/texmf' not
empty so not removed.

The leftover file causing this was a dangling symlink:
~$ find /usr/share/texmf
/usr/share/texmf
/usr/share/texmf/tex
/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic
/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config
/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/language.dat
~$ ls -l /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/language.dat
lrwxr-xr-x    1 root     root           23 May  4 20:42 /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/language.dat -> /etc/texmf/language.dat

I don't have an /etc/texmf directory, so this link definitely shouldn't hang
around after a purge (nor should the other directories starting with
/usr/share/texmf).
