Bug#197913: jadetex: Instalation fails, reporting as requested

Hi Martin,

last summer you reported a bug with jadetex installation, which was then
assigned to be tetex-bin's fault, discussed, but not resolved:

(and many more mails in http://bugs.debian.org/197913). I would like to
check whether the problem still exists in current tetex, or the packages
for the to-come tetex-3.0 which I'm preparing.

Well, to do that I need to know: Did this error occur only once, or was
it reproducible under certain (or uncertain) circumstances?
