A file.eps is wrongly rotated to give you a wrong file.pdf. Both files
are attached.

In case it helps, the file.eps was created using R. But gv displays it
perfectly. It is only epstopdf that is broken; i.e. the file.pdf comes
out rotated (in xpdf and in acroread).
