Package: tetex-bin
Version: 1.0.7+20011202-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

In the newer version of pdftex the command \pdfannotlink
has been replaced by \pdfstartlink

This change should be documented somewhere visible.
I was only able to find it on the pdftex mailing lists.

Many documentation packages that generate pdf documentation
(e.g. the documentation of pari-2.1.2) will break on this change.

Regards,

Kapil.

Hello,

I think the following e-mail says it all. I had forgotten about this bug
since I haven't come across it again (since I now use the \pdfstartlink
primitive and presumably so do other people who write documents for
pdftex to process).

Bug #131223 should be closed.

Kapil.

Is it possible that software is not like anything else, that it is meant to
be discarded: that the whole point is to always see it as a soap bubble?
