Bug#227301: Package count1to conflict with package hyperref

On the other hand: If I ask you to give me an example, which shows up
the behaviour, I don't expect that I have to download some additional
packages and read first the manual of all used packages to edit the
"example" that way, that it proves your statement.

Sure, did so.

Well, the undefined references came from referring to TotPages and
not using totpages.sty, as it was not installed. Having installed
count1to and \ref{TotalPages} I can reproduce your observations. I'll
try to create a minimal exmaple and then forward to upstream if
necessary.
My bibtex output still looks weird:
