Bug#273789: tetex-base: fmtutil.cnf not found
Hello Frank!
I have reinstall less. But the link will not be docked. I linked the
/etc/alternatives/pager -> /usr/bin/less
manual. Then I reinstall tetex-base. There comes the lines:
apt-get --reinstall install tetex-base
Paketlisten werden gelesen... Fertig
Abhängigkeitsbaum wird aufgebaut... Fertig
Vorgeschlagene Pakete:
tetex-extra
Empfohlene Pakete:
tetex-doc
Die folgenden NEUEN Pakete werden installiert:
tetex-base
0 aktualisiert, 1 neu installiert, 0 zu entfernen und 51 nicht aktualisiert.
Es müssen noch 0B von 14,4MB Archiven geholt werden.
Nach dem Auspacken werden 54,5MB Plattenplatz zusätzlich benutzt.
Preconfiguring packages ...
Wähle vormals abgewähltes Paket tetex-base.
(Lese Datenbank ... 106296 Dateien und Verzeichnisse sind derzeit installiert.)
Entpacke tetex-base (aus .../tetex-base_2.0.2b-5_all.deb) ...
Richte tetex-base ein (2.0.2b-5) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/tetex-base.postinst: line 1: kpsewhich: command not found
Creating config file /etc/texmf/dvips/config.builtin35 with new version
Creating config file /etc/texmf/updmap.d/00updmap.cfg with new version
Why it don't find kpsewhich??
Then i reinstall tetex-bin. But when I comiled a tex file, I get the follow
lines:
latex bewschrOrig.tex
This is e-TeX, Version 3.14159-2.1 (Web2C 7.4.5)

What is wrong here? Must I installed more packages for tex, or is something more
wrong with my distribution?
