Hm. There is yet a fix in tetex-bin's postinst, although a problematic
one. But it _should_ fix this bug.

Maciej, which version of tetex-bin had you installed, or do you have
installed while you can reproduce the bug? In you first message, you
wrote:

But this cannot have been true at the moment the bug occured, because
then it would not even have tried to generate those formats.
