Plus it tries to show dialogs when it can't find certain files - I
should have made that point clearer. If a file that is part of
tetex-{base,bin}, and is needed for initex, can't be found when postinst
is run, we are in trouble anyway.
In summary, I think there is no real benefit in running texconfig
instead of fmtutil and texlinks.
