Is that t1lib-5.0.0? It has problems with fonts generated by
pfaedit (see e.g.: http://xdvi.sourceforge.net/xglyph5.0.0.gif)
which have been fixed in t1lib-5.0.1. May not be relevant for
the Type1 fonts in Debian though. Otherwise, I've upgraded the
xdvik-22.81 distribution too and had no problems so far.
