Yes, that's correct. I just was confused because I tried to install the
packages built after applying your patch, and it didn't work because of
the tetex-extra-fonts vs. tetex-extra conflict. After this, I noticed
that fonts could not be found, and I thought the reason was that
tetex-extra-fonts wasn't correctly installed and/or configured. However,
the real reason was that tetex-extra wasn't configured.
