Hmm, sorry but I was very confused with your emails.
My understanding is;
* secure mode by default is the setting of an upstream
and not Debian specific.
* it was already documented in README.Debian as Frank
suggested.
* I believe comments in config.ps is clear enough and
see not so much improvement to add "secure mode" to the
original comments.
So I don't think it is necessary to patch config.ps of
tetex-base.
Please explain more clearly if we should keep this open.
