Bug#225687: tetex-bin: LaTeX segfaults when run by auctex on filename with space

I guess one way to find out would be to compile the current
tetex (or TeXLive, in case these are more up-to-date) sources ...

The original implementation was adopted from MikTeX for web2c
(and fptex) by Fabrice Popineau; Olaf made several changes and
bugfixes. So fptex (which AFAIK allows for spaces in filenames)
may be affected too; but I guess that could be sorted out
by Olaf and Fabrice ...
