Umm, this is also very wild guess, but it is known
sometimes jadetex failed to be generated and so we 
call fmtutil twice if it failed in the first run.

sorry for the inconvenience but now tetex-bin has changed 
the default answer to debconf question to "yes" (i.e. turn on) 
so I believe you can safely call update-fmtutil and "fmtutil -all"

Perhaps that will fix this problem, IMHO.
