Package: tetex-extra
Version: 1.0.2+20011202-3
Severity: normal

I was keen to use /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc/exam.cls
Inside this, there is the comment:

% The user documentation for exam.cls is in the file examdoc.tex.

However, there is no examdoc.tex on my machine.

Please install tetex-doc and/or tetex-src.

kohda@fits:~$ dpkg -S examdoc
tetex-doc: /usr/share/doc/texmf/latex/styles/examdoc.dvi.gz
tetex-src: /usr/share/texmf/source/latex/exam/examdoc.tex

Generally, documentation is in tetex-doc (in this case,
DVI file) and its source (in this case, TeX file) is
in tetex-src, I believe.

Thanks, 2003-3-6(Thu)
