Bug#179939: tetex-base: Can't configure

This is from lines 1790-1794 in version 1.0.7+20021025-8 of tetex-bin

But I have no idea what this line is about or where it originates.

Could you purge tetex-{bin,base,extra} and reinstall?  I think that's
most likely to fix this.
