tetex-src and tetex-extra
Hello,
I wanted to use the sty-file picinpar.sty. I found it in the package
tetex-src. I wasn't able to use the sty-file after installing this
package. I tried to run texhash because I was able to use the sty-file
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc/landscape.sty and the picinpar.sty was
installed in /usr/share/texmf/sources/latex/picinpar.
Unfortunaly, latex didn't find the picinpar.sty-file further on.
So I made a symbolic link /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/picinpar ->
/usr/share/texmf/sources/latex/picinpar and run texhash. It worked, but it
isn't fine.
I suppose this isn't normal, because I can find landscape.sty in
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc and in
/usr/share/texmf/sources/latex/misc.
Could the missing picinpar.sty be a mistake in the tetex-extra package?
