???? Don't understand you. jadetex is able to dump a fmt-file.
It would be horribly if that wouldn't be the case.

I don't think, that we look at the same issue. The problem in 113899
was that during creating the formats the TFM-file for ecrm1000 wasn't
found, which is contained in the tetex-extra.
If it would be the same issue, jadetex would be in an unconfigured
state.
