Right, same here.
I just can't conceive of how this can be jadetex's fault. It doesn't
include the fonts nor the metafont system and it doesn't directly mess
with the TFMs at all.
I don't see how I have any choice other than moving this bug over to
tetex-extra. I hate blame shifting but ....
