There are uptodate binaries for all architectures including alpha on
ftp-master now.

ls -l /org/ftp.debian.org/ftp/pool/main/t/tetex-bin/*alpha*
-rw-rw-r-- 1 troup debadmin 86370 Dec 23 23:15 /org/ftp.debian.org/ftp/pool/main/t/tetex-bin/libkpathsea-dev_1.0.7+20000807-7_alpha.deb

I built the sparc version three days ago, because I thougth this was
holding the move to testing. But it still not moved in.

The lines in update_excuses say:

tetex-bin 1.0.7+20000807-7 (currently 1.0.6-7) (low)
         Maintainer: teTeX maintainers <debian-tetex-maint@lists.debian.org>
tetex-bin uploaded 20 days ago, out of date by 30 days!
out of date on alpha: tetex-dev, tetex-lib (from 1.0.7+20000807-5)
there are up to date bins in alpha also
out of date on arm: tetex-dev, tetex-lib (from 1.0.7+20000807-5)
there are up to date bins in arm also
         out of date on i386: tetex-dev, tetex-lib (from 1.0.7+20000807-5)
there are up to date bins in i386 also
         out of date on m68k: tetex-dev, tetex-lib (from 1.0.7+20000807-5)
there are up to date bins in m68k also
out of date on powerpc: tetex-dev, tetex-lib (from 1.0.7+20000807-5)
there are up to date bins in powerpc also
out of date on sparc: tetex-dev, tetex-lib (from 1.0.7+20000807-5)
there are up to date bins in sparc also
         not considered

They don't say what the problem is.

If I would upload a new version now, it would only prolong the time
until tetex-bin goes to testing.
