Package: tetex-base
Version: 1.0-10

LaTeXing just such simple document:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{czech}
\begin{document}
Ahoj is czech Hallo.
\end{document}

causes the error:

ERROR: Package babel Error: You have used an old interface to call babel

--- TeX said ---
(babel) You may expect compatibility problems wit other
packages

raised in czech.sty on the page 54.

for slovak.sty it's the similar.
