With me, I just run the nvidia.run package together with the option: --x-module-path=/usr/lib/xorg/modules/
Like.... ./NVIDIA...blalbalblalba.run --x-module-path=/usr/lib/xorg/modules/
Maybe the link will show you the way. I hope you can get it fixed!
