udev and automount of usb drives

How can I configure my system to automatically mount my usb drive when I
~ plug it in? I've got udev installed, and I see the drive show up as
/dev/sdf when I plug it in, but it doesn't mount it. I'm not very clear
about how hotplug, udev and discover all work together at this point, so
I'm not sure where to start looking.

Thanks,

Jason Martens
