Re: Video card recognition



I did not have any /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.26-1/drivers/video, but I
found this wich looked similar:
/lib/modules/2.4.26-1-386/kernel/drivers/video/
By looking at the sourcetree as you did I got this:

TheBigBrain:/lib/modules/2.4.26-1-386/kernel/drivers/video# grep -ri 'asus' *
Binary file sis/sisfb.o matches

Just about here I loose track of what you have done. I tried

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

and followed the configmenu, but looking over the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
file, there were no changes made to the file.
