Bug#186283: sarge cdrom testing

Oh yes, we're going to hack around that. Something like having a
cdebconf-priority udeb that languagechooser doesn't depend on (it has to
depend on cdebconf-udeb and it's what currently asks the question).

> Hmm, still no English (Canada). At least there's a Francais (Canada)

File a wishlist bug on languagechooser.

This had me really confused, since I couldn't find the "Detecting HW..."
string anywhere in the debconf templates. It's the debconf title.
However, the "Linux Floppy Driver'" comes from hw-detect's progress bar
updates (Detected module '${MODULE}' for '${CARDNAME}'). hw-detect
intersperses the progress bar updates with questions like these, and
that gives confusing output in the text frontend.

Well, debconf makes a difference between no value and null value. The
value should probably be pre-set to the null string (seeing as once the
value's set, you can't unset it...) That would make it consistent, at
least.

> The CD's name is CDNAME still

Uh. Yes. cdrom-detect has a line:
  db_subst cdrom-detect/success cdname "CDNAME"
that I don't have a clue why it's there. WTF? This is definitely a bug,
but to be honest, I don't know where it should pick the name? What file
on the CD has this? The Release file?

Yes, we don't quite know what to do instead (this is still in cdebconf
btw, not in anna), and I haven't written the paging code so I don't
really know what's going on.

Hard to do, this is the cdebconf progress bar, but we should probably
log all the modules selected to a file.

There's cdrom-detect and there's ethdetect, they both use hw-detect. The
probing & loading has to be done in two steps because all interesting
modules don't fit on the initrd.

Uh, yeah, that's a good question.

Wishlist bug on netcfg-dhcp.

Hmm. I thought the text frontend already had that, seeing as it's a
regular 'select' question. Oh, right, there's some confusion with the
paging code and the default value code.

When you get to the end of the list, you can restart it with 'b'.
(#192305 again)

File a bug on partitioner.

busybox-cvs's tar can't handle the hard links in the e2fsprogs udeb. :-/

Whoops, file a bug on partconf.

Well, this I can't help you with. :) I blame it all on debootstrap and
debian-cd. *g*

Great, thanks!
