make dep breaks off
Hi! Trying to compile a new kernel. menu config completes
successfuly. make dep consistently produces the following error
message, although I have not enable usb support for the kernel:
make -C usb/gadget fastdep
make: *** usb/gadget: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: Entering an unknown directorymake: Leaving an unknown directorymake[3]: *** [_sfdep_usb/gadget] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4-xfs/linux/drivers'
make[2]: *** [fastdep] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4-xfs/linux/drivers'
make[1]: *** [_sfdep_drivers] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4-xfs/linux'
make: *** [dep-files] Error 2
Using touch to create the missing directory does not help but simple
produces other error messages.
Guidance how to solve this appreciated.
