Comments/Problems:

I have a full mirror on my local network so I booted using "cdrom
DEBCONF_PRIORITY=medium" and walked through the first few steps by hand
up until the "select mirror" stage. I chose the "enter information
manually" option, but that did not prompt me to enter any information -
instead it just came back with a selection list with the only option
being "null". I could not find any other way to select my personal
mirror location. I went back and chose one of the pre-listed mirrors
instead and the install completed without incident.
