Please file a bug against boot-floppies for this.

I think the "cdrom" boot argument will streamline this a bit.  In the
next version of boot-floppies, that will be the default if a CD is
present.  Please try booting with that option and see if it works the
way you want.  If not, again, file a bug against boot-floppies.
