it isn't too easy, but it's even not very complicated. AFAIK there is a
switch in dpkg which can be used together with dpkg and deselect to allow
downgrades. I could just write it down here, but I don't, because _you_ could
just try it without reading the manual and finally you _have_ to reinstall
and I got the blame ...
