Just to confirm that it does; I'm using a 53C1010 with a 2.2.19
kernel, no trouble. I've never seen behaviour like described here, but
I would suggest the usual (check cabling, termination, pull crappy
SCSI CD drives and whatnot off the bus temporarily.)
