Re: It's time to get rid of zImage (fwd)
Ok, everything tests out fine on my end.
System config:
IBM ThinkPad 560
P133, 40mb, 2.1gb
11.3" DSTN, 1mb
Both 2.2.15 and 2.4.0-test1 bzImage kernels booted just fine.
As an aside more directly to debian-testing, this was by far the easiest
and most error-free installation of Debian ever, especially considering
that it was done on my ThinkPad. Everything installed and worked properly
the first time: X, Gnome, Netscape and many other packages. The only
thing I had to do was re-compile the kernel to get sound working.
