Both the normal and compact rescue images for "potato" worked fine.  I'd
guess moving the DC390 driver ahead of the AHA-2940's did the trick.  I
notice potato also supports my 3com 905 card -- unlike slink.  How close
is potato to being promoted to production release?  slink is proving almost
more annoying than it's worth -- I dislike having to burn a cd to install
it (lack of 905 support rules out NFS-based install of base_2.1).  Keep up
the good work on potato!


P.S.  Any idea how long until the aic7xxx-only rescue image will be
copied to ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/slink/main/disks-i386/current/?
