Booting with AIC7xxx-based SCSI card

Greetings!

We've been trying to get Debian running on two of
our servers, but the problem is that the default bootdisks
distributed with slink freeze at SCSI-phase of kernel
initialization.

The boot argument aic7xxx=no_probe did not help.

So if you have any bootdisks that have been seen
to work with the AIC7xxx cards, I'd be happy to try
them out and report if it works.

It seems that 2.2 kernels work ok with the SCSI adapter,
but we've been unable to build a working bootdisk with
that kernel.

Thanks in advance!
