I don't want to fiddle with dpkg inside the base system. That changes 
should be done on the package itself, and probably will have to wait for 
potato. So, the operative methods will be:

cdrom, multi_cd, nfs, multi_nfs, harddisk, mounted, multi_mount, floppy,
and apt.
