Dear Swiss locals,

Please could you advise on specific regulations for foreign drivers in
Switzerland?

As far as I can tell, from the wikipage you point:

  Warning Triangle: yes
  Reflective Jacket: yes
  First aid kit: no
  Fire extinguisher: no
  Beam benders: probably
  Bulbs: probably
GB Sticker: not with recent Euro-plates
  IDP: ?
  GPS: ?
  DRL: recommended
  Green card: ?

One thing that is very specific to Switzerland is that you need a "highway vignette" which can come quite expensive. It is mandatory to be allowed to drive on swiss highways; it is currently worth 40.- CHF but is valid for a
whole year.

Thanks, this is a really helpful start!
