(FWIW, I bounced Jonathan's mail to the community mailing list where it is probably more appropriate) Hi Jonathan, Le mardi, 26 juin 2012 15.31:42, Jonathan Wiltshire a écrit : > Dear Swiss locals, > > Please could you advise on specific regulations for foreign drivers in > Switzerland? As far as I can tell, from the wikipage you point: Warning Triangle: yes Reflective Jacket: yes First aid kit: no Fire extinguisher: no Beam benders: probably Bulbs: probably GB Sticker: not with recent Euro-plates IDP: ? GPS: ? DRL: recommended Green card: ? One thing that is very specific to Switzerland is that you need a "highway vignette" which can come quite expensive. It is mandatory to be allowed to drive on swiss highways; it is currently worth 40.- CHF but is valid for a whole year. Cheers, OdyX
